In 2014, the Center for Central European Architecture was a part of the architectural Biennale in Venice through the accompanying program of the event as the curator. The exhibition we organized with partners from Central Europe was selected by curator, Rem Koolhaas, as one of the 20 accompanying events of the XIV Venice Biennale. The exhibition was in progress from 05.06.2014 and ended with a symposium that was organized in Venice on 22.11.2014. Given that we were asked to participate in this project at the end of 2013, it was not possible to apply for public resources and it was financed by private sources from the Czech Republic and abroad. This is the first presentation of Czech architecture outside the Czechoslovak pavilion, that was not Venice Biennale of Architecture. The architecture parade managed to implement a project that proves the establishment of the Center for Central Europe architecture on the international stage.

We are currently preparing a bilingual edition of the exhibition. The goal is to expand abroad with the local Czech architecture of the region. As the publication is a more durable form than an exhibition, it will be possible to combine this international success with the Czech Ministry of Culture. In the case that it is published, it will support both Czech architecture and the Ministry of Culture's care on an international platform. The publication will be prepared in collaboration with Polish curator Piotr Bujas and Belgian architect Pierre Hebbelinck, and with the authors who have already participated as authors in the exhibition, which was presented in Venice.
