The vision of the new development is to create an exemplary residential project for the older generation, which will provide its residents with quality,
dignified, and safe housing where they will be able to maintain their independence and their current lifestyle while at the same time having
the security of access to social services and immediate assistance in case of emergency. At the same time, the new apartment building should be a welcoming space for residents to meet and form social bonds, contributing to the mental well-being of the city’s earlier-born citizens.
The town of Valašské Meziříčí is looking for the best solution for an apartment building of at least 32 units, which will integrate it into the town organism and open it up to the surrounding environment to an appropriate extent. An essential part of this will be creating meeting places for new residents and their visitors inside the building and in the immediate surroundings. Commercial units may complement the ground floor of the building. Beyond the site itself, the proposal should also focus on transport solutions, including new public transport stops.
