The subject of the competition was a new elementary school in Stará Boleslav with 4 x 9 classrooms, 1st and 2nd grade, which will not only provide space for education, sport, and leisure for 900 children but will also contribute to the cultural and sports life of the town.

The new school in Stará Boleslav is supposed to be the best school. Pupils, teaching staff, and other employees are to feel comfortable there, and the local people and residents of the associated municipalities are to like it.

Born in Graz, she spent part of her childhood in Homs, Syria. From 1990-93 she studied art history and scenography, in 1999 she studied architecture at the Technical University of Graz under Professor Joost Meuwissen. After her studies she founded the architectural office leb idris architektur together with Jakob Leeb in 2004. In 2008 she founded the research group W:A:B, which focuses on alternative housing models and cohousing. Since 2004 she has been a member of the jury of the competition committee of the Chamber of Architects and Engineering Consultants for Styria
and Carinthia.

He graduated in architecture at the Czech Technical University, in 2004 he was nominated as a co-author for the European Mies van der Rohe Award for the construction of a lighting factory in Koloděje near Prague. With Martin Rajniš he is the co-author of the Czech Post Office on Sněžka. In 2013 he won the Grand Prix of Architects.

Petra Kunarová

In 2008 she graduated in Civil Engineering and Architecture at the Czech Technical University. In 2010 - 2013 she studied Master‘s degree in Architecture and Urbanism at the Faculty of Architecture of the CTU. From 2014 to 2017 she
worked as an architect in Basel .She is a co-founding member of the in-form-architects studio.

Károly Pólus

Founder of Archikon Architects in Budapest. Several of their projects have won numerous awards in Hungary due to their unique innovative solutions. They have won the Budapest Architectural Award of Excellence and the Architectural Award of the Hungarian media several times, as well as the Pro Architecture Award, The Building of the Year Award. They have also received international recognition, for the Paris Court project, which was awarded the Architizer A+Award, and for the Vizafogó Kindergarten, which was shortlisted for the EUMiesaward 2022 and Piranesi Award 2021.

Nikoleta Slováková

Nikoleta is a Slovak architect based in Prague. She graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University and she has been gaining experience in the Petr Hájek ARCHITEKTI studio for a long time. She is the co- Author of the design of the apartment building Za Papírnou and the Pavilion EXPO 2025, with the studio Apropos Architects. Her research activities include the project City on Campus. In 2023, she co-founded studio Uncut with architect Tereza Šváchová.
