This competition is held in the Czech language only.
The subject of the competition is a proposal to expand the capacity of the first grade of the primary school and also to expand the capacity of the kindergarten in the village of Staříč or to build a new kindergarten. The proposal also includes the construction of a new gymnasium for the kindergarten and primary school and the public.
Šárka Sodomková
Jury ChairShe studied architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University in Prague. After her studies, she worked for two years in Berlin at the Mueller Reimann Architekten studio. She also gained experience later in the Prague studio of Markéta Cajthamlová (until 2001). Later she founded the Sodomka Sodomková architekti studio, where she still works today. In 2014, she was also the head of the first-year studio at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University.

Josef Kiszka
Josef Kiszka studied architecture at the Brno University of Technology. He returned to the faculty for postgraduate studies, then worked in the Office of the Chief Architect in Ostrava and in Stavoprojekt Ostrava, AT4-Havířov. He also founded his own studio Arkiss in Havířov in 1990. He is a lecturer and head of the Institute of Design at the FA BUT in Brno. He has received several awards, including the prize for the new building of the Grammar School in Orlová (Grandprix of the Architects' Association 1996).
Jan Kalivoda
He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Czech Technical University in Prague. In 2006, together with Vojtěch Kaas, he founded his own architectural studio PROGRES. Their successful projects include the reconstruction and completion of a primary school in Lysolaje and the reconstruction of an apartment building in Lochkov.

alternateShe studied architecture at the Brno University of Technology and the Czech Technical University in Prague. She also worked for a year in the Rotterdam studio Neutelings & Riedijk architects, gaining experience in the studios Kuba, Pilař architekti and Jiran Kohout architekti. Since 2011, when she co-founded the studio XTOPIX, she has been based in Prague. The studio has successfully realized, for example, the construction of the Přístavní Kindergarten in Stříbro or the reconstruction of the town cinema in Planá.
