The aim of new architectural and urban open one-phase competition for the design of “Town Squares Benešov” were the two public spaces that once existed – Masarykovo and Malé náměstí. Today they lack integrity and representative value. It is necessary to return their dignity and offer new opportunities for citizens of Benešov to use them. The aim of the competition was to create a contemporary multifunctional public space that the Town of Benešov will develop as one of its long-term goals based on the result of this competition.
